A ring, coin or other small object is borrowed and placed into the folds of a handkerchief. The Ring Casket is introduced and placed on the table. On the count of three, the handkerchief is shaken out and shown to be empty. A spectator is asked to unscrew the lid of the box. It is threaded with multiple threads and actually takes a good moment to open. When the lid is finally removed, the vanished item is found inside.
