Begin by telling the audience that you are going to show them a picture of your favorite flower. Hold up an 18" silk that has a flower on it- but the flower has no color. Place the flower silk in a tube that claim has the power to "catch colors". You then ask the children to throw imaginary colors at the tube.The tube is opened and out comes the silk with color splattered all over it, but there is no color on the flower. The kids succeeded in throwing color, but missed the target. The silk goes back into the tube and this time imaginary color is thrown while shouting big magic words. The end of the trick arrives when the tube is opened and out comes the silk with the flower beautifully painted...but more than that...the flower has grown! The 18" silk is now a gorgeous 36" silk.
